Lucas Najera is a Senior Venture Partner at ATOMS VC, where he helps founders, operators, and portfolio companies navigate the intersection of capital, technology, and growth. Based primarily between Boston and Atlanta, Lucas supports ATOMS VC’s investment diligence, capital formation, portfolio strategy, and internal innovation across hard-tech, medical device, and venture-backed technology companies.

Lucas brings a differentiated background across venture investing, investment banking, M&A advisory, technical diligence, data science, and software-driven value creation. He has advised on more than $15 billion in transactions, including large-scale technology and software M&A, with experience evaluating IT systems, hosting architecture, product roadmaps, R&D organizations, technical debt, integration risk, and operational scalability.

At ATOMS VC, Lucas built an internal deal diligence platform designed to quickly screen investment opportunities, analyze company materials, streamline diligence workflows, and support more data-driven investment evaluation. Lucas continues to run internal intiatives and strategic projects at ATOMS that enable a novel approach to venture. This work reflects his broader focus on helping founders and management teams translate technical complexity into clear investor narratives, identify diligence gaps, and prepare for institutional capital.

Lucas works with founders, private equity firms, and growth-stage companies on strategic positioning, financing alternatives, capital readiness, and value creation initiatives. He also contributes to broader venture ecosystem development through Ven^X, a venture capital ecosystem group connecting founders, investors, operators, and emerging hardtech companies in Boston.

Prior to ATOMS, Lucas worked with Rainmaker Securities, SAP Americas, Accenture Strategy, and EY-Parthenon Software Strategy Group. At SAP Americas, he held worked across data science and management teams while collaborating closely with SAP Ventures (Sapphire Ventures). Lucas was a two-time entrepreneur having co-founded a SaaS project management venture focused on predictive analytics for team productivity and exited out of a healthcare analytics venture focused on payer reimbursement intelligence.
